About Us
Lloyd Morgan Group was established in 2007, since then we have quickly established ourselves as one of the leading, independent transport compliance solutions providers in the UK.
The company was formed by founder and Managing Director Pete Thompson who has worked in the transport industry all his life, starting as an apprentice engineer, and then later moving on to a large logistics hub operation.
With the first hand experience and frustrations of using third party compliance partners, Pete felt he could set up a company and prove you can indeed find a company that not only delivers a great service but can also deliver a great customer service at the same time.
That has always been the ethos of Lloyd Morgan Group, and is why we have a great reputation within the HGV and PSV industries as a leading transport compliance solutions provider. We work with some of the largest transport operators in the UK as well as many smaller operators, helping them to stay safe, legal, and compliant, whilst delivering on great customer service.
We’re not a membership organisation, and we can provide everything operators need to help them keep their vehicles moving and keep their O-licence.

The Institute of the Motor Industry(IMI) is the professional body for people in the automotive industry and is one of the largest providers of IRTEC Accreditations and Electric Vehicle Training. We are an approved centre meaning we are delivering training to the high standards set by the IMI.

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport is the body for professionals involved in the movement of goods and people, and their associated supply chains. The Joint Approval Unit for Period Training is the body that manages the application and quality assurance program of centres for the periodic training element of ‘The Vehicle Drivers (Certificate of Professional Competence) Regulation 2007. As an approved centre we are able to provide Driver CPC training to the required and accepted standards.

Largest UK delivery centre for IRTEC Accreditations
IRTEC is the Industry Standard for HGV and PSV technicians and is an independent accreditation to validate the competence of technicians. It is valid for 5 years. Lloyd Morgan Group are a recognised leading approved centre for the IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry) and as a result are approved to deliver IRTEC awards.
