Control Measure During Covid 19 Pandemic
Controls for Training, audit & inspection During Covid 19
Controls for Work Activities During Covid 19
Issue 2 Updated as of 23rd September 2020
To attend our training courses you must wear a mask for the duration of the course. We ask that you bring your own mask, if you fail to do so one will be provided upon arrival.
Should you fail to wear the mask during the course you may be removed from the course.
It is our aim to ensure that our staff and you as our clients are kept safe during these testing times, with as minimal disruption to our businesses as possible whilst maintain high levels of control.
All LMG staff visiting customers sites will firstly make themselves aware of the site controls regarding COVID 19 and adhere to them using our controls as a base minimum to ensure protection is provided.
Audit / Inspection:
Our team whilst on your premises will wear either a face mask and / or a face shield and will use hand sanitiser at regular points throughout the visit.
Social distancing will be implemented where possible as good practice.
Training:
During the Covid 19 period all courses and site visits will be run with strict controls in place.
Following the 22/09/20 announcements – Courses of 20 people will only be held when those people are from the same company bubble.
Where open courses (mixed bubbles / numerous companies attending) are run there will be no more than 15 people permitted to attend.
Due to the nature of our business and the wide range of clients we visit weekly, where courses are run, both tutor and candidates must wear masks for the course duration and we will be implementing social distancing.
We ask that the candidates bring their own pens when attending a course and that they bring their own masks to ensure their comfort. Should one not be bought with them we will supply a disposable mask which must be worn to protect themselves, our future clients and our staff.
We also suggest that you bring suitable clothing as the windows and or doors may be opened to allow for sufficient airflow through the room which is a recommendation from the government guidelines
Visiting the LMG office:
Visiting the LMG Office will be limited during this period.
Staff / Subcontractors;
Field staff and subcontractors will be managed via a drop off and pick up process within the reception.
Either call the office or use the office intercom system upon arrival to alert staff you are here.
During this process masks must be worn and sanitiser used.
Deliveries / Collections;
Deliveries and collections from parcel companies will be managed in reception in this manner also.
Visitors;
Visitors to the premises will only be permitted upon the confirmation of the Managing Director and will only be for emergency work / repairs or special circumstances which will be controlled with Sanitiser being used and PPE must be worn.
Overview:
Social distancing must be maintained.
All our staff are issued with sufficient supplies of facemasks / shields, sanitiser and gloves to ensure they can do everything in their powers to control the spread of any infection.
Masks will be worn by LMG staff on client’s premises or whilst interacting with clients
Where our staff have medical conditions such as COPD face shields will be worn in place of masks
If you are attending or any of your staff are attending one of our courses, audits or are engaging in an inspection with us please do not let them attend if they are showing any signs of Covid 19
We have implemented these sensible measures to protect our staff and all of our clients with minimal disruption to the service being provided.
Please understand our reasoning for this.
Although one group of people we work with today may work together, tomorrows group may not be linked to the previous day’s work and we need to ensure that we take sensible controls to prevent the potential spread of infection throughout all of our interactions and not just the one the individual client sees.
We trust you support us in these controls and understand the complexity we are faced with to try to keep everyone as sensibly safe as possible.
Thanking you in advance for your support and understanding.
Kind Regards
