Every professional HGV, LGV and PSV driver must complete 35 hours of periodic training every five years to keep their Driver Qualification Card valid. For an operator, that means planning training for a whole workforce, keeping vehicles on the road while it happens, and holding records that stand up to scrutiny.
Group training is the most efficient way to do that. Instead of sending drivers to separate courses on different dates, you book a session for your team and we bring the training to you. Your drivers learn together, discuss the issues they face on your routes, and leave with the same understanding of the standards you expect.

All formats are JAUPT approved and count fully towards your periodic CPC Training hours.
Each driver who completes a module has their hours recorded with DVSA, and the hours count towards their Driver CPC. Drivers can check their training record online, and we provide you with a clear summary of who attended and which modules they completed, ready for audit or Traffic Commissioner scrutiny.

The 35 hours must be completed before the expiry date on each driver’s Driver Qualification Card. If a card lapses, the driver cannot drive professionally until the outstanding training is done, so plan group sessions well ahead of renewal dates.
Each driver’s hours are recorded with DVSA. Once a driver has completed all 35 hours, they can apply for their new Driver Qualification Card. Drivers should keep proof of their training until the new card arrives.
Yes. Some modules focus on goods operations and others on passenger transport, so tell us your vehicle types when booking and we will match the content to your drivers.
