Lloyd Morgan Group can provide Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) training for companies that are involved in the carriage or loading of dangerous goods by road. Since the 1st January 2000, any companies or organisations involved in the transport of dangerous goods have been required to appoint an appropriately qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA). This requirement covers road, rail, and waterways. An advisor must hold a certificate gained by passing a written examination, the examinations being set and administered by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).

The Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) course is intensive. It covers the ADR requirements relating to classification, packaging, and labelling of dangerous substances in UN Classes 1 to 9, Transport Categories, Limited and Excepted quantities, Documentation, Placarding and Marking of vehicles.

The complete DGSA Package includes:

  • The DGSA 5 day Course
  • Entry to the DGSA Exams with SQA
  • DGSA course workbook including the ADR Manuals
  • Online pre-course entitled an Introduction to your DGSA course
  • 1:1 Coaching

Or you can just take the DGSA course and book your own exam with SQA and bring your own ADR Manuals (please note the manuals are updated every two years so please ensure you have access to the latest version).
