Anyone who has been an appointed person for first aid if a risk assessment indicates that first aid training covering emergency protocols only, is sufficient for your workplace.
Who is the 3 day course aimed at?
Anyone who has been nominated to be a first aider and requires a comprehensive set of practical skills to become a confident first aider at work to meet the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations.
A certificate of attendance is issued following completion, which proves evidence that attendees have taken positive steps to demonstrate their professionalism and continued development.

The content of this course provides basic life saving first aid and workplace health and Safety regulations, including:

- Managing an emergency
- Communication and casualty care
- Bleeding (minor and severe)
- Burns Choking (adult)

- Health and safety (first aid) regulations
- Resuscitation (adult CPR)
- Seizures (adult)
- Shock

Emergency First Aid at Work Training Course
(3 days, 18 hours minimum)
This comprehensive course provides the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies and includes:
- The role of the first aider
- Head injuries
- Managing an emergency
- Health and safety (first aid) regulations
- Communication and casualty care
- Low blood sugar
- Asthma
- Poisoning
- Bleeding (minor and severe)
- Resuscitation (adult CPR)
- Bone, muscle, and joint injuries
- Seizures (adult)

- Severe allergic reaction
- Chest pains (including heart attack)
- Shock
- Choking (adult)
