The National Crime Agency (NCA) has updated the amber alert in relation to illegal migration using coaches. The Agency provides:

“We want to bring to your attention that organised crime gangs are using coaches to smuggle migrants into and out of the UK, which poses significant risks to the coach industry, including reputational damage, delays, increased operational costs and potential fines. The alert provides vital information on how to identify, prevent and report such activities, along with essential security measures that can help you protect your business.”

This Amber Alert is issued by the United Kingdom’s National Crime Agency (NCA). It is based on assessed intelligence and warns of dangers and threats from serious organised criminality. It is devised with the aim of bringing about preventative or remedial action. We recommend you use this Alert to complement existing knowledge and support ongoing improvements to your business processes and procedures.
