Important updates: UK & International Hauliers

 

The Testing requirements for fully vaccinated UK hauliers returning from amber list countries.

From Monday 19th July at 4am;

If you have been fully vaccinated under the UK vaccination programme and have not been in France or a red list country in the 10 days before you arrive in England. UK Hauliers will not need to self isolate in their cab on arrival in Englande or take further tests after your day 2 test.

Fully vaccinated means that you have had your final dose of an approved vaccine at least 14 days prior to the date you arrive in England.

UK Hauliers will have to;

  1. Provide proof of your vaccination status to your carrier when you travel
  2. Declare that you have been fully vaccinated on your passenger locater form

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – FRANCE 

The amber list rules DO NOT apply for fully UK vaccinated people in France. If the Haulier has been to France 10 days before you arrive in England. You must follow all standard amber list rules.
You will be required to self isolate in your cab whilst working in England and you will be subject to a day 2 test and a further test every 3 days.

RESTRICTIONS ON ENTERING GERMANY

You will only be required to take a COVID-19 test if you will be in Germany longer than 72 hours.

If you will be in Germany longer than 72 hours, before you travel you must have proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.

  • Isolating in your cab
  • Entering and exiting the vehicle
  • Loading and unloading
