Vehicle Gate Checks **: It was a pleasure to spend time with the compliance engineer as he carried out his duties. I noticed how thorough and knowledgeable he is, and actually passionate about truck safety. He spoke to each individual driver, walking them around the vehicle, giving advice and passing constructive observations to them in a friendly manner. This was much appreciated, and all the drivers learnt something new from him. Without doubt, his visit here today has been extremely positive and will certainly enhance our drivers ability to be even more eagle-eyed when carrying out their daily vehicle checks. Its always a pleasure to meet someone who takes their job very seriously, but executes it with humour and a willingness to impart his experience
